CUSTECH Gets Approval for MMBS, LL.B., Four Other Courses »

Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTCH) Osara, has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to commence six new courses; Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS), Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT), B.Rad. Radiography, B. Agric. Agriculture, B. Eng. Agricultural Engineering and LL.B. Law respectively.

This is a significant development for CUSTCH, as the approval paves the way for the university to offer these programs starting from the 2024/2025 academic session.

The approval was granted following a thorough resource verification visit by panels of experts to assess the university’s readiness in terms of human and material resources for the establishment of the proposed academic programs.

In a letter addressed to the management of CUSTECH, Mr. Abubakar Girei, the Acting Director of Academic Planning for NUC, conveyed the commission’s decision and emphasized that the approval only pertains to full-term programs. In order to offer part-time courses, CUSTECH must submit a separate request to the commission for further processing.

Governor Usman Ododo has played a key role in advancing the education sector in the region. Under his leadership, CUSTECH has seen tremendous growth and expansion, becoming a leading institution in science and technology education.
