Dekina LGA Chairman Announces Curfew, New Security Measures
The Executive Chairman of Dekina Local Government Area has declared a 4PM to 6AM curfew across Dekina LG as part of new security measures for the festive period.
According to the announcement, all night vigils including moludes are suspended until further notice. Churches holding Sunday services have been directed to ensure that their services do not exceed one hour.
In addition, the Chairman has placed a total ban on knockouts and fireworks throughout this Christmas season to prevent security breaches and panic within the communities.
Security agencies have been deployed on 24-hour patrol to enforce the directives and ensure the safety of residents.
Residents are urged to comply with the guidelines and cooperate with authorities for the peace and stability of the area.
