Dr. MK Ibrahim Assumes Office as Provost KSCOE[T] Mopa, Sets Strategic Agenda, Engages Traditional Council

Barely 24 hours after his appointment by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, Dr. MK Ibrahim has officially assumed duty as Provost of the Kogi State College of Education (Technical), Mopa, hitting the ground running with a clear roadmap for transformation.
During the formal handover ceremony at the College, Dr. Ibrahim outlined four key agenda of his administration to include infrastructural revitalization, strategic collaborations for institutional growth, enhanced academic standards and improved staff welfare which he noted aligns with Governor Ododo’s policy direction.
He was warmly received by the College community, who offered their full support and commitment to the new administration’s vision for progress.

Shortly after, the Provost paid a courtesy visit to the Mopa Traditional Council, where he was received by the Elulu of Mopaland, His Royal Majesty, Oba Muyiwa Ibeun; and Former Acting Governor and Balogun of Mopa His Excellency Clarence Olafemi, alongside other members of the traditional council.

The Elulu, on behalf of Mopa people, expressed appreciation to the state Governor for Dr. Ibrahim’s appointment, describing it as a welcome development for the community. He acknowledged the Provost’s transformational track record in Ankpa and urged him to replicate similar strides in Mopa for the broader development of the State.



Speaking on behalf of the Traditional Council, Oba Ibeun commended the Provost’s swift and focused start, endorsing his four-point agenda and pledging the Council’s full support for his leadership.
