Dr Salisu Ogbo Usman Typifies Gov Yahaya Bello as he bags outstanding performance in education sector
The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman, was honored with the award for “Innovative Practices in the Education Sector” by the Ankpa Women Development Association on Saturday, February 11th, 2023.
This award was in recognition of his exceptional performance in the educational sector.
While receiving the award, Dr. Usman attributed it to his late grandmother who was a founding member under the leadership of Hajiya Salamatu Wada. He expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the award, known to be integrity proven and are revered women’s group led by Hajiya Miss Omoke for her efforts as a staunch PDP grassroots women mobilizer.
Dr. Usman who also acknowledged his benefactor, Governor Yahaya Bello, for always believing in him and for giving him the opportunity to serve said, “I will continue to dedicate all his accomplishments and recognitions to His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Executive governor”.
Dr. Usman holds women in high esteem and supports their causes, recognizing their crucial role in society’s development. Similarly, like the Executive Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, Dr. Usman Ogbo is typify his audacity, courage, and dedication to delivering democratic dividends and increasing women’s participation in politics, especially at the grassroots level.
The award from the Ankpa Women Development Association is a testament to Dr. Usman unwavering support and remarkable contributions to the educational sector.
