Easter Celebration: Okehi Secretary hails Ododo For Prompt Payment of Salary
The Secretary of Okehi Local Government, Hon. (Prince) Matthew James Omeiza Popularly known as Mr Spreading has commended the governor of Kogi State, Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo, for the prompt payment of workers’ salaries ahead of Easter Celebration, describing the state as lucky, unlike some other states in the country.
The Okehi Local Government Scribe in a statement, described Governor Ododo’s few days in office as remarkable and a huge success to the state despite the distraction in court from the opposition party.
“I sincerely thank our governor for his unflinching commitment in the payment of worker’s salaries up to date. Our governor has clearly shown that he is a man of distinction who sees workers as assets and not liabilities,” he said.
Kogi state civil servants went into jubilation on the 28th of March after they received alerts for the payment of March salaries from the state government in order to allow the Christian faithfuls to have a befitting Easter Celebration.
