Easter: Hon. Monday Anyebe Urges Youths to Embrace Peace, Unity

The Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Honourable Aridaojo Monday Anyebe, has extended warm Easter greetings to the people of the state, calling on youths to embrace peace, unity, and positive engagement.

In a message to mark the Easter celebration, Anyebe described the season as a sacred period that reflects the virtues of sacrifice, love, hope, and renewal. He noted that Easter symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness and offers an opportunity for citizens to rededicate themselves to values that promote peaceful coexistence.

The Commissioner particularly urged young people in the state to remain focused and committed to building a better future, stressing the need to shun violence and other social vices. According to him, the energy and creativity of the youth population are critical to the growth and development of Kogi State.

He also called on residents to use the Easter period to foster harmony, show kindness to one another, and support initiatives that promote peace and progress across communities.

Anyebe further expressed optimism that the lessons of Easter would inspire renewed hope, strength, and unity among the people of the state.

He wished all residents a joyful and peaceful Easter celebration.
