Easter: Kogi Information Commissioner Fanwo Urges Christians to Promote Peace, Love, Unity

The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo has extended his warm greetings to the Christians on the occasion of the Easter Celebration.
In a statement issued today, Fanwo described Easter season as a reminder of Christ’s death and resurrection on the third day for redemption of sins.
“Easter marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ three days after his crucifixion. This symbolizes victory over death and sin. It offers hope, redemption, and the promise of eternal life by bringing forgiveness of sins, spiritual renewal, and the assurance of a personal resurrection.” Fanwo noted.
Fanwo highlighted that the Easter season is a quick reminder of God’s love, and grace through his sacrificial actions, urging people to reflect on this and embrace peace, extend love to one another and support the less privileged in the society.
The Hon. Commissioner implored the Christians to use the season to pray for the leaders of Kogi State and the nation, as they are working tirelessly to ensure greater peace, unity, and prosperity.
He reiterated Governor Ododo’s unwavering commitment and relentless efforts in ensuring adequate protection of lives and property by strengthening the security architecture that creates an enabling environment where development thrive, leaving no stone unturned in all sectors of the State.
He prayed for renewal of lives with hope, love, peace, blessings, and laugher this season and even beyond.
