Easter: Kogi Poly Rector Greets Christians, Advocates Peaceful Coexistence

The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman, has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians across the state and the nation, urging them to embrace peace, love, and selflessness in the spirit of the season.

In a message issued on behalf of the Management, Academic Board, staff, and students of the institution, Professor Usman congratulated Christian faithful on the celebration of Easter, describing it as a moment of deep reflection and spiritual renewal.

He prayed that the lessons embodied in the life and teachings of Jesus Christ would inspire greater submission to God, love for one another, and commitment to peaceful coexistence.

“Let us reflect on the symbolic selflessness of Christ to empathize with and care for one another, and avoid divisive and destructive tendencies,” the Rector said.

Professor Usman also called on the Polytechnic community and Nigerians at large to seize the opportunity presented by Easter to work towards the growth and development of the institution, Kogi State, and Nigeria as a whole.

He extended his best wishes to Christians for a joyful and fulfilling 2025 Easter celebration.
