Eid-el-Fitr: Hon. Monday Anyebe, Congratulates Muslims

The Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Honourable Monday Aridaojo Anyebe, has extended his heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim faithful across the state and beyond on the joyous occasion of Eid-al-Fitr.
In a statement released on Sunday, Hon. Anyebe congratulated Muslims for successfully completing the holy month of Ramadan, emphasizing the importance of the spiritual exercise in fostering self-discipline, devotion, and love for one another. He urged the faithful to uphold the lessons of Ramadan and continue to practice the virtues of patience, kindness, and charity in their daily lives.
“As we celebrate Eid-al-Fitr, let us reflect on the values of peace, unity, and mutual respect that Islam teaches. This is a time to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and foster harmony in our communities,” the Commissioner said.
Hon. Anyebe also reiterated the commitment of the Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo-led administration to empowering the youth and fostering sports development in Kogi State. He assured young people of the government’s unwavering dedication to providing opportunities for growth, skill acquisition, and talent development.
While calling on the youth to embrace peace and shun all forms of social vices, the Commissioner urged them to channel their energies into meaningful activities that will contribute to the progress of the state and the nation at large.
He concluded by praying for continued peace, prosperity, and divine blessings for all citizens of Kogi State, wishing everyone a joyous and fulfilling Eid celebration.
