Eid-el-Kabir: SWS charges Muslims to spread love among people
The International President of Standup For Women Society felicitates with Muslim Ummah in the association, Nigeria and the world at large on the occasion of the Eidil Kabir.
The President, Barrister Liberator Deborah Ijadele-Adetona in her message made available to journalists by the National Public Relations Officer, Liberator Billie Nwogu said the essence of Eid el-kabir and the command of Allah (SWT) symbolizes genuine obedience, which is the basic essence of Dahiyyah.
She said it is a sincere demonstration of submission to Allah when a Muslim gives out that which he loves most for the sake of the most Beneficent.
“I, therefore, celebrate the willingness of all Muslims who tore this path because the benefits after the sacrifice are huge.
God! As many that work by faith and take care of the needy today, may all their prayers and sacrifices be acceptable to Allah as a reward for their obedient” She prayed
Eid-el-Kabir is also a season that calls for rededication to the cause of mankind, to appreciate the gift of life and to imbibe the virtues of tolerance, understanding and good neighbourliness.
SWS International President then, used the occasion to call for total support to one another, saying love and sacrifice are inseparable.
“Please, remember the poor and needy in our midst. Use this season of celebrations If you have more than your neighbour or friends, kindly extend a helping hand to them. Support them, feed them, celebrate with them and to crown it all, love them as you love yourself” That is what God wants from us.
As a people, we must reflect and imbibe the essence of sacrifice and humility for the promotion of harmonious relationships in our country.
I called on women across the nation, to pray and join the present administration of Bola Tinubu to do away with corrupt practices, hatred, envy, jealousy, and anything that will tarnish the excellent name Nigeria, we are called.
“I equally used the occasion to felicitate with Bola Tinubu as he celebrates his first Eidil Kabir as a President.
I appealed to him to involve more women in his cabinet because women are naturally created to support men to achieve what might be difficult to achieve
I am sure, if more women are given the chance to be part of the nation-building at the centre, Nigeria will be a better place for all.
“May the rewards and benefits attached to this day, of Edil Kabir be yours as Muslim faithful”
