Eid: NFWP Scale-Up Boss Extends Felicitations, Lauds Gov. Ododo’s Women-Centric Vision

The State Coordinator of the Nigeria for Women Project (NFWP) Scale-Up in Kogi State, Dr. (Mrs.) Esther Ameadaji, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah on the joyous occasion of Eid al-Fitr, with a special message to women’s groups across the state.

In her goodwill message, Dr. Ameadaji wished all Muslims a peaceful and joyous celebration, while reaffirming the commitment of the Nigeria for Women Project to enhancing the livelihoods of women through the ongoing transformative programs being championed by His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

According to her, “We recognize the immense contributions of women to the development of our communities and our state. The Nigeria for Women Project Scale-Up is fully aligned with Governor Ododo’s vision to empower women economically and socially, ensuring they have access to the resources and opportunities that can transform their lives.”

Dr. Ameadaji also expressed profound gratitude to Her Excellency for consistently prioritizing women in the current administration, and commended the Governor’s unwavering dedication to empowering women across all sectors.

She used the occasion to call for unity, peace, and renewed commitment to community development, especially among women. She encouraged beneficiaries of government interventions to actively engage with ongoing initiatives and utilize the resources available to improve their socio-economic standing.

As part of the celebration, Dr. Ameadaji offered a heartfelt appreciation to key women leaders and partners:

Hajia Dr. Habiba Onumoko, World Bank Focal Person for Kogi State and a trailblazing Accountant General, was praised for her exemplary leadership and continued inspiration in governance and public service.

Hajia Fatima Momoh, Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, was recognized for her tireless efforts in promoting gender inclusion and championing the welfare of women and children across the state.

All female political appointees were also commended for their contributions and dedication to women’s development and for paving the way for the next generation of female leaders.

The Nigeria for Women Project Scale-Up continues to roll out targeted programs designed to uplift women, foster economic independence, and strengthen their roles in families, communities, and governance.
