Ejura Onoja congratulates muslims on 2022 Eid-el-Fitri celebration
Wife of Kogi State Deputy Governor, Mrs. Ejura Onoja has congratulated her Muslim friends and followers on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast, wishing them a happy celebration.
A statement issued through her aide, Halimat Isah in Lokoja on Monday said the Wife of the Deputy Governor implored Muslims to sustain and replicate the teachings of the Holy Prophet from the Ramadan period in all their engagements; private and public.
Mrs. Onoja added that the fasting and prayer season which was a period for sober reflection and recommitment to prayers be sustained beyond the fasting period, appealing to them to continue to pray for the peace, security and prosperity of Kogi State and the nation in general.
“It is my prayer that our acts of Ibadah will be accepted. I urge us all, across religious divide, to remain steadfast, prayerful and patriotic. The virtues of moderation, piety, regular supplication to Allah and being our brother’s keeper should subsist beyond the Ramadan,” she said.
