Embassy of D.R Congo Receives PYU Vice President, Oladele Nihi on a Courtesy Visit

As Both Parties Agreed to a Bilateral Relationship

Upon his arrival to Nigeria after a five days working visit to Mauritania in honor of President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani’s invitation, the Pan-African Youth Union Vice President (West Africa), Dr. Oladele John Nihi was earlier today received by the Embassy of the Democratic Republic of Congo by the Head of Mission, Omba Olenga Jean Claude.

Dr. Oladele John Nihi in his remark applauded the government of Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) for the support given to the Youth of Africa, and noting that It is on record that under the leadership of Amb. Francine Muyumba Furaha as President of the Pan-African Youth Union, the apex youth coordinating body in the continent enjoyed a robust growth and smooth relationship with DRC.

Dr. Nihi also used the opportunity to propose programs and workable plans to be executed through a bilateral corporation between the Mission of DRC in Nigeria, and the Pan-African Youth Union to foster youth integration and development between the Democratic Republic of Congo, Nigeria and other West African countries.

The Head of Mission, Omba Olenga Jean Claude while responding, expressed his high level of satisfaction to have received one of the continent’s most decorated youth in his office. He congratulated Dr. Oladele John Nihi on his victory at Niger during the Ordinary Congress conducted by the Union that produced him as Vice President, West Africa. He then granted an unrestricted access to the embassy whenever the need arises and promised to work harmoniously with his office; as they work closely to implement all laid-down plans as proposed by Dr. Nihi during his remark.

Mr Omba Olenga Jean Claude, also admonished His Excellency, Dr Oladele John Nihi to be up and doing, as the responsibility and demands of him has increased by virtue of his office, and urged him to use his access to head of Governments across the continent to continue advocating for youths; as youths needs to stand because the youths is for today and tomorrow.

His Excellency, Dr. Oladele John Nihi appreciated His Excellency, Omba Olenga Jean Claude for the warm reception and for believing in a united Africa. Most importantly, he thanked him for believing in the spirit of Pan-Africanism and hence extends his hand of fellowship for effective collaboration as they work together to achieve all common goals.
