Emodu remains our collective project says Onje

.. We are not just here to Scatter but as planters.

The National Chairman of Ekele Descendants Union of Adoga Clan in Odu Ogidiga Chiefdom Elder. Samuel Onje has called on the Association to imbibe a character that is devoid of tendencies of disintegration but champion developmental course to justify our coming together.

Mr. Onje made this call a while ago in Abejukolo- Ogbonicha, Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State while addressing members of the Association in their just-concluded anual Meeting.

Onje who emphasized that his administration is aimed at championing the course of unity of the Adoga clan also revealed that his tenure will bring about a lot of developmental achievements added that “we are not just here to Scatter but as planters”.

In his speech, “my passion is to justify the confidence reimposed on me as the chairman of this noble Association by making Adoga a unique clan in the entire Emodu Chiefdom” stressing that “Adoga has men of Timber and Calibre to deliver on any project embarked on”

Elder Benjamin Ameh Abah the host of the meeting and the oldest in the clan reiterated his commitment to bring to bear his wealth of experience adding that, with the developmental strategies at his disposal, Ekele Family Meeting and Adoga as a whole would stand distinctive in the affairs of Emodu Chiefdom.

Elder Abah equally thanked Mr. Micheal Oguche the chairman of Adoga Family, the National chairman of Emodu Development Association Mr. Paul Ikwoche, and Chief Micheal Idoko the Odu of Odu Ogidiga Chiefdom for piloting the affairs of Emodu awesomely.

Addressing the need to communicate properly on the events and programmes of the Association, Mr. Sunday Oguche has promised to step up on his responsibilities as the Public Relations Officer of the Association to bridge the communication gap in the discharge of his duties noting that the era of GSM has made communication easier.

The highlight of the meeting was the election of Mrs. Ladya Micheal as the Chairlady of the Womenfolk which was received with a high ovation.

The chairman in his closing remark appreciated all the participants for their dedication to the family course and further slated the next meeting for the Easter period.
