Engr. Abubakar Ohere fetes with Chief Edward Onoja @47 describes him as a model for excellence in leadership »

The Honourable Commissioner for works and housing Engr. Dr. Abubakar Ohere FNSE, felicitate with Kogi State Deputy Governor His Excellency, Chief Edward David Onoja as a man of many parts and a model for excellence in leadership.

In the statement issued, Engr. Ohere said, ” My relationship with him is among the productive thinking of our principal, the GYB who has been variously described as a unifier… indeed, he formed this formidable team and ably being deputized by His Excellency Chief, Dr. Edward Onoja. He has also been very consistent in the drive towards a new and unified kogi state.

Engr. Ohere stressed that, Edward Onoja
foremost attribute is his piety (a God-fearing Christian). I guess this is the foundation of most of his other personal traits. He respects individuals in their own capacity, places great value on relationships, allows access to even the distant associate. He values goodwill and loyalty in his relationships.

He is meticulous, intelligent and a passionate workaholic, a man of balanced cognate experience in both the private and public sectors and a thoroughbred technocrat. He is so consistent in his drive, yet you will find him as humble as they come.

Your Excellency, you have continued to assist our leader Governor Yahaya Bello to advance the frontiers and promotion of the common good, the uplift of Kogi State and the construction of enduring bridges and platforms of peace and security in our dear state.

It is no gainsay that your wealth of erudition and experience in public service has to a large extent rub off on the wellbeing of the state, in your capacity as the Deputy Governor. Without mincing words, you are one of Kogi ’ life savers, a technocrat par excellence. Your immense contributions to achieving a better and smarter Kogi state cannot be best quantified in words.
