Engr. Ademu Pays Courtesy Call To Ankpa Elders’ Forum

The performing chairman of Ankpa local government council, Hon. Ademu Muhammed Yahaya, earlier today paid a courtesy visit to the Ankpa Elders’ Forum, a visit that highlights his usual commitment to community engagement and collaboration.

As Chairman of Ankpa Local Government, Engineer Ademu has consistently reached out to stakeholders, including elders, to foster understanding and unity amongst all, regardless of ages, political parties, tribes, and religions.

‘I am not elected to represent only my party, but every Ankpa indigene and resident. Today, God says I become the chairman of Ankpa local government, and by virtue of that, I owe the entire Ankpa a responsibility of inclusiveness and genuine accountability at all levels,’ said the Chairman.

This visit is part of Engineer Ademu’s efforts to build trust and promote unity among the people of Ankpa. By engaging with the elders, the Chairman can gain valuable insights into the community’s needs and concerns, informing his policy decisions and development initiatives.

Speaking on behalf of the group, the chairman of Ankpa Elders’ Forum, Alhaji Isah Adejoh (Isah Coca-Cola) lauded the chairman for the courtesy call.

According to him: ‘The Council Chairman purchases an innate wealth of humility and high regards for all. It is uncommon of public office holders like him, how he has included us in his protocol lists since he assumed office.’

Speaking further, Alhaji Isah described the Chairman as a leader that has been working round the clock, especially his developmental strides while assuring him of the Forum’s support where needed.

Hon. Ademu’s leadership style emphasizes inclusivity, transparency, and accountability. His visit to the Ankpa Elders’ Forum reinforces his dedication to serving the people of Ankpa and promoting the overall well-being of the community.

It is worth noting that the Ankpa Elders’ Forum has been actively engaged in promoting development and good governance in Ankpa Local Government.

They have previously endorsed leaders who have demonstrated a commitment to the community’s well-being, such as Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims.

Also joined in the visit were the vice chairman of Ankpa local government; Hajia Halimat Imam, Kogi state Coordinator of KOSSIPA; Hon. Aishat Oyiza Omade, the council leader, Hon. Ladi, the party chairman; Hon. Muhammed Jubril, and several others.
