Engr. Ademu Strengthens Party Engagement, Advocates Unity, Development in Ankpa

The Executive Chairman of Ankpa Local Government, Hon. Engr. Ademu Muhammed Yahaya, has taken a significant step towards reinforcing the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the area by expanding his stakeholders’ meeting to the district level.
The meeting, which witnessed a large turnout of party members and leaders, stressed the unity and dedication of APC stakeholders in the region. Engr. Ademu emphasized the importance of community engagement in governance, stating that leadership should always prioritize the needs of the people.
“My administration remains committed to addressing the people’s concerns. Expect more from us as we work towards making Ankpa one of Nigeria’s top five local government areas,” he assured.
The Council Chairman attributed his administration’s achievements to the collaborative efforts of stakeholders, acknowledging that decisions are often guided by their input. He called on party members to foster unity, emphasizing that internal divisions and defections could weaken the APC’s political strength.
Stakeholders at the meeting commended Engr. Ademu for his outstanding leadership and developmental strides, highlighting his inclusive approach to governance.

“Engr. Ademu is known for his fairness and non-partisan leadership style. He ensures that all stakeholders, regardless of party affiliation or ethnicity, are carried along in decision-making processes,” they remarked.
Expressing gratitude to both party stakeholders and residents of Ankpa for their unwavering support, Engr. Ademu reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people diligently.
“For the APC to remain strong, we must work together, putting aside personal interests and focusing on the party’s collective goals,” he urged.
Reinforcing his commitment to grassroots development, he directed Ward Councillors to establish offices at the ward level to enhance community engagement, pledging full support for their commissioning.

The stakeholders’ meetings were held across the three historical districts of Ankpa: Ankpa District, Ojoku District, and Enjema District. The sessions were overseen by key representatives, with Hon. Akus Lawal presiding over Ankpa District, Hon. Abbas Ibrahim (Linco) handling Ojoku District, and the Chairman himself leading the Enjema District meeting.
A key highlight of the event was a donation of 80 pieces of clothing to women by Hon. Yahaya Audu (Aji), Chairman of Enjema Ward IV. Additional contributions included 40 pieces from Hon. Attah, Supervisor for Works, and 20 pieces from Hon. Dauda.

The gathering was attended by esteemed political figures, including former and serving state appointees, the immediate past Chairman of Ankpa Local Government, current and former Councillors, local government officials, and party leaders.
