Evaluating The Remarkable Achievements of Hon. Monday Aridaojo Anyebe: A New Era for Youth and Sports Development in Kogi State
In less than ten months, the Kogi State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development has experienced a transformative era under the visionary leadership of Honorable Commissioner, Hon. Monday Aridaojo Anyebe. His tenure has been marked by an unprecedented level of productivity, innovation, and impact.
The ministry has successfully hosted three groundbreaking programs, each addressing critical aspects of youth development. The Kogi State Youth Engagement Summit brought together stakeholders to discuss and address pressing youth issues, while the recent International Youth Day celebration on August 12th was a resounding success, showcasing the commissioner’s commitment to empowering young people.
To cap it all, a Database for Kogi Youths was unveiled during the International Youth Day celebration, to track youth involvement in governance, track the aspirations of Kogi Youths, design effective programs, and make informed decisions for empowerment and support.
These achievements would not have been possible without the foresight and wisdom of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo (FCA), in appointing Hon. Monday Aridaojo Anyebe as Commissioner for Youth. This appointment has proven to be a masterstroke, as the ministry has witnessed an unprecedented level of progress and dynamism.
Under Hon. Anyebe’s leadership, the ministry has been revitalized, and its relevance has been reestablished. His passion, energy, and dedication to youth development have inspired a new generation of young people, who now see the ministry as a beacon of hope and opportunity.
