Fanwo Pays Glowing Tribute to Journalist and Publisher, Femi Olugbemi at 50

Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo, has paid a glowing tribute to renowned journalist and publisher, Chief Femi Olugbemi, as he marks his 50th birthday, describing him as “a trailblazer in grassroots journalism and a committed advocate of democratic ideals.”

Chief Olugbemi, the publisher of Democracy Newsline, has been a prominent voice in the media space in Kogi State, earning respect for his professionalism, consistency, and dedication to using journalism as a tool for societal progress.

In a special congratulatory message, Hon. Fanwo described the golden jubilarian as “a man of outstanding courage and integrity, whose passion for truth and balanced reportage has helped shape public discourse and promote democratic accountability in Kogi and beyond.”

“Chief Femi Olugbemi’s contributions to journalism and media development in our state are both historic and enduring.
