Recently, a distressed teenager reached out to FAIWO with an urgent plea for help. The family was on the verge of eviction, unable to pay their rent of 300,000 naira. In a swift and compassionate response, Dr. Ayoade personally ensured the family received the necessary funds. The overwhelming gratitude expressed by the recipient highlighted the vital role FAIWO plays in offering timely assistance and restoring hope.

In the same week, FAIWO received another call from a young boy who had been forced to drop out of school due to unpaid fees. Recognizing the importance of education in breaking the cycle of poverty, FAIWO provided financial support and enrolled the boy in Government Science Secondary School, Lokoja, where he can continue his studies free of charge, thanks to the state government’s support.

Furthermore, FAIWO was contacted by a pair of twins facing the prospect of missing their exams at Federal University Lokoja due to an inability to pay their school fees. Despite not being orphans, their vulnerability moved FAIWO to action. The foundation stepped in to cover their fees of 117,500 naira each, ensuring that their academic progress was not hindered by financial barriers.
