Former Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello Mourns Passing of Hajiya Rekiya Alfa »

Former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji (Dr.) Yahaya Bello, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Hajiya Rekiya Alfa, popularly known as Hajiya London.

In a heartfelt tribute, Bello described the late Hajiya Rekiya as more than just a community leader. He praised her as a pillar of support and an inspiration to many across Kogi State and beyond.

“She was a bastion of support and a source of inspiration,” Bello said, highlighting her commitment to social justice, education, and community development. He noted her contributions as a member of the Governing Council of the University of Abuja and her dedication to improving the lives of the less privileged.

Bello urged the public to not only mourn her passing but to celebrate a life marked by compassion, service, and selflessness.

“May the Almighty God grant her eternal rest and provide comfort to her family and all who were touched by her remarkable life,” he added.
