Ganaja Road: Ajaokuta Reps, Assembly Candidates, LG Boss, SIEC member provide palliative, facilitate temporary repair
Ajaokuta Local Government Chairman, Hon Aliyu Mustapha, APC House of Representatives Candidate & House of Assembly Candidate respectively, Hon Sanni Abdulraheem and Hon Jibril Abu were on ground at Ganaja area on the evening of 24th August, 2022, to ease the traffick gridlock having facilitated the supply of trucks load of hardcore and chippings to fill some bad spots of the Lokoja- Ganaja- Ajaokuta stretch of the road.
The palliatively measure has put to an end the gridlock that hitherto lasted for over 24hrs.
The efforts of the Trio Technocrats cum witty young politicians and the State SIEC member representing Ajaokuta, Hon Abdulkareem Jamiu eased vehicular movement from 7pm of 24th Augjst, 2022.
Commuters heaved a sigh of relief as their efforts ensured not only eased movement but the protection of the vehicles from damages.
Their action is known to amplify the nature of the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, who puts his people above self.
As at this morning, they were again at another terrible spot of the Way filling the deplorable spots with a bid to averting another gridlock.
It is noteworthy that the road in question is a Trunk A road whilst the sole responsibility of the Federal Government is to construct, and to maintain roads exclusively in their list.
The serving Ajaokuta House of Representative Member, Hon Lawal Idris, in whose constituency the stretch of pitiable road is seen has been accused of sleeping on duty, never taking seriously issues bothering on his constituency.
Seeing these gentlemen on the road is simply an evidence of their concern, love and consciousness of the plight of their constituents and passersby. Judging from the same, it is a promise of a better tomorrow.
It is, therefore, needless speaking any further on why these lads should be granted the opportunity to serve in the capacity they vie for. It will be a new Dawn indeed; an era of Servant-Leaders.
Believing and working for these lads is an evidence that we are all heading “Together Towards Tomorrow”.
