Good Friday: Senator Ohere Charges Christians to Emulate Jesus Christ »

As the world celebrates Good Friday today, the Distinguished Senator Abubakar Ohere has charged Christians in Nigeria to emulate Jesus Christ by sacrificing their interest to make life better.

Sen. Ohere in his message today thanked God for the gift of lives to witness this year’s Good Friday.

Justifying the importance of today in the history of mankind, the Senator said “Good Friday is celebrated to commemorate the day Jesus Christ was crucified. Good Friday is considered holy because on this day Jesus Christ sacrificed his life out of love for everyone and while suffering for the sins of humanity”.

He charged Christians to cultivate the habit of loving not only people of their faith but those of other religions so that the reward for being true believers in the actions and words of Jesus Christ will be theirs on the day of accountability.

The Senator further advised them to use the festive period to pray for oneness, growth, and development of our great country, Nigeria.

Senator Ohere commiserate with Christians in Kogi Central Senatorial District and Kogi State as a whole on the occasion of this year Good Friday while he prayed that they shall celebrate numerous of the day on the Earth surface.
