Good leaders don’t create panic in the minds of followers – Kogi COS
Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Pharm Abdulkareem Mohammad Jamiu has expressed that good leaders do not create fears in the minds of their followers as such act could have more grievous outcome on the people.
He made this known during a covid-19 sensitization program for stakeholders from diverse sectors of the state held at the government house in Lokoja.
He pointed out that the pandemonium being caused by the pandemic was becoming more harmful than the effects of the pandemic itself.
He noted that they all were aware of the stand of Governor Bello on the issue of the pandemic quoting the Governor’s statement “I made sure that I first educate myself about Covid-19, so that I can lead my people in the right direction”
The COS said that It was no longer news that the world is ravaged with a pandemic which was having damaging effect on the economy and was killing people in different parts of the world, and said that various governments at different levels have adopted strategies which they believed to be effective to compact the challenge.
Asuku stated that In order to educate the people of the state and further reduce their fear, the Governor invited renowned Academia who educated stakeholders in the state and get them more squinted to the subject and the things to do to remain on the safe side.
Pharm Jamiu noted that It was no doubt that Kogi State was standing tall and hence the need to make gains on such success by properly educating the needed and very important stakeholders.
