Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr Abubakar Bashir Gegu has congratulated the state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello over his appointment as Chairman of mobilisation and sensitisation committee by the National Secretariat of the APC in its forthcoming revalidation and registration exercise.

This was contained in a statement made available to newsmen in Lokoja by his Media and Publicity office.

Engr Gegu, who described the development as a step in the direction said it is a testament to the leadership ability being demonstrated by the Governor which has been recognised by all sundry.

He said the Governor has been given another privilege to show the party the stuff he is made of and enjoined the leadership of the party to sit back and watch the Governor deliver like a professional that he is.

The Commissioner said Governor has grown beyond the level expected of individuals in his category, adding that he had no doubt that he would wow the party and drive it to grow its membership.

To him; “Those of us calling for the Governor to accept to lead Nigeria come 2023 know what we are saying. Governor Bello is doing something differently than others and it is time the entire country listens to this man. I have no doubt he will assist our party to grow its followers beyond expectations,” the Commissioner concluded.
