Gov Bello congratulates Prof Itodo on appointment as VC, Joseph Tarka University of Agriculture, Makurdi
Kogi State governor Yahaya Bello has congratulated the newly appointed Vice Chancellor of Joseph Tarka University of Agriculture, Makurdi, Engr. Prof. Isaac N Itodo, while describing his appointment as a result of hard work, commitment, and record of academic excellence.
the governor’s congratulatory message was released through his Chief Press Secretary, Onogwu Muhammed on Wednesday in Lokoja.
“Today, I am pleased to congratulate Professor Itodo Isaac on his appointment as the Vice Chancellor of Joseph Tarka University of Agriculture, Makurdi, Benue State. I know professor Isaac will bring his wealth of experience and knowledge, and I am confident that he will be a great asset to the university.
Professor Isaac have a long and distinguished career in higher education. He has held various positions of responsibility and leadership at higher institutions in Nigeria, and have been recognized for his achievements in teaching, research, and administration. His appointment is a testament to his commitment and dedication to the field”, he said.
The governor commended the Senate and the Governing Council of the University for their good and unbiased research into Engr Itodo’s years of post-professorial, academic and administrative qualifications, and experience in various other capacities and for confirming him as the new Vice Chancellor of the institution.
Governor Bello stated that he was certain Prof Itodo will be an excellent leader for the university going by his track record of service.
“I am certain that he will be an excellent leader for the Joseph Tarka University of Agriculture, Makurdi, as he brings his wealth of experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm to the role. I wish Prof Itodo Isaac the best of luck in his new position, and I am sure he will be a great asset to the university and a good ambassador of our dear state. congratulations” the Governor said.
Prof Isaac N Itodo FNSE, FAEng, FNIAE, FSESN, NPOM, hails from Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State.
