Gov. Bello has transformed education sector in Kogi state – Hon. Wemi Jones
The Kogi State Commissioner For Education Science and Technology Hon Wemi Jones says the present administration has achieved a quantum leap in the repositioning of the education sector of the State.
Hon. Jones stated this when he attended the Law Students Week Dinner Night of Salem University Lokoja, said Gov. Bello has kept his promise to make education accessable and affordable.
The Commissioner said the present administration inherited an education sector that was in comatose, but expressed appreciation that the State now leads other states in the north Central States in terms of education.
Hon. Jones observed that Kogi State has the least number of out of school children in the North Central States of Nigeria, attributed the many successes made in the sector to the education law that was put in place by the present administration.
The Commissioner described the legal profession as a noble profession, congratulated the students for finding themselves worthy to be admitted.
Hon. Jones lauded the present administration achievements in the establishment of the Confluence University of Science and Technology Osara, another approval for an Okun University, said the present administration has made much impacts in the education than any other before it.
While pointing out that the State has achieved unbroken academic calendar in the past seven years, said the State has become a destination of choice for admission seekers and quality educational pursuit
