Comrade Nihi’s appointment as the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Ododo of Kogi State marks a significant milestone for the youth representation in governance and further consolidates on GYB’s achievements in terms of youthful inclusion in governance in Kogi State.

Comr OJN Having been a crucial contributor to the success of the previous administration under Governor Yahaya Bello, Comr. Nihi’s dedication and commitment have clearly not gone unnoticed.

Throughout his advocacy, Comr OJN has consistently advocated for the interests of the youths, mobilizing youths across boards for active politics, spearheading agitation and protests to champion the course of youths. His new role reflects a well-deserved recognition of his efforts. His appointment signifies a continuity of Gov Bello’s decision to always create opportunities for youthful perspectives to be at the forefront of the state’s leadership and decision-making processes.

This appointment sets a positive precedent for the integration of young leaders into key positions within the government, and this has further rejuvenated our hope that Gov Ahmed Ododo will consolidate massively on the laid-down gains of his immediate predecessor.
