Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has expressed profound appreciation for Hon. Kashim Abdulbasit Adarehi’s tireless efforts in developing his community, Adavi-Eba. During a recent visit to the area, the Governor was heartened by the overwhelming turnout of residents, showcasing their unrelenting support and love for his administration.

Governor Ododo pledged to continue supporting Hon. Adarehi’s initiatives, underscoring his administration’s commitment to impactful governance, peace, and investment attraction to transform Kogi State’s socio-economic landscape.

The Governor’s commitment to empowering youths was evident in his appointment of Hon. Abdulbasit as Special Adviser on Protocol Matters and Government House Administration. Community leaders, including Alhaji Dauda Abedo, Chairman of Adavi Development Association, and Hon. Abdullateef Salihu Adoke, APC Local Government Secretary, lauded Governor Ododo’s transformative leadership and developmental strides in Adavi-Eba.

Speaking further, Hon. Salihu Abdullateef Adoke appreciate the Governor for appointing Hon. Abdulbasit in his cabinet. Adding that, Hon. Abdulbasit has been a model of purposeful and effective leadership in Adavi-Eba and Adavi Local Government as a whole.

Notable projects initiated in Adavi-Eba include road construction, renovation of primary healthcare facilities, and empowerment programs for women and youths. Hon. Abdulbasit’s contributions to the community’s development, including providing boreholes and infrastructure projects, were also acknowledged.

During his visit, Governor Ododo admonished the youth of Adavi-Eba to shun all forms of social vices and intake of illicit drugs. He emphasized that the youth are the present and future of society, and as such, they must progressively build themselves to be good ambassadors of the land.

The community has promised to reciprocate Governor Ododo’s efforts during his reelection, underscoring their appreciation for his dedication to driving growth and progress in Kogi State.
