Governor Ododo Pays N2.3 Million for Titilayo’s Prostheses

Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State, has released the sum of N2.3 million for the purchase of advanced prostheses for Mrs Titilayo Olanrewaju, a local resident who lost her limb due to complications from diabetes. This release was made through the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Mrs. Folashade Arike Ayoade.

Addressing the family during the presentation earlier today, Mrs. Arike said “This money is intended for the treatment and purchase of an artificial leg for Mr. Olarewaju’s wife, Mrs. Titilayo. She emphasized that the Governor is deeply concerned about the well-being of every citizen in Kogi State and is committed to continuing efforts to reach out to the poor and needy.

“We are hopeful that this will go a long way in mitigating the suffering of Titilayo and her family,” she added.

Reacting, Mrs. Titilayo, a mother of four, could not hold back her tears as she expressed her gratitude to the government for their kindness and support during this challenging time.

The Olarewaju family expressed their heartfelt thanks to Governor Ododo and the Secretary to the Government for the act of compassion and support.
