Governor Ododo Urges Omala Political Appointees to Unite for Sustainable Progress
Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has called on the state political appointees in Omala Local Government Area to work closely with the caretaker transition Chairman to effectively achieve the visions of the present Administration of massive human and infrastructural development for all.
During a meeting with the state appointees from the area at the Government House, Lokoja, the Governor, represented by his Deputy, Comrade Joel Salifu, expressed gratitude for their visit and urged them to uphold the values presented to them.
Governor Ododo emphasized that he is upholding the mandate of the people and encouraged the appointees to establish strong relationships with the people at the grassroots.
He further highlighted that his primary aim is to execute the renewed hope of the current Administration of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu in the state while emphasizing the importance of continuous collaboration to ensure the realization of the shared vision.
Earlier, the Leader of the delegation, Mr. Daniel Atabo, extended his congratulations to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and his Deputy Joel Salifu for their victory at the Governorship Election Petition tribunal in Abuja. He emphasized that the ruling accurately reflects the desires of the people of the state.
He revealed that the purpose for the visit was to express gratitude to the Governor for their appointments and assure unwavering loyalty to the current administration.
The Governor’s call for unity and collaboration among the political appointees in all local governments in the State signifies his commitment to peace, development, and the strengthening of democracy in the rural areas.
