Guber 2023: Special Adviser canvases support for Ododo at Kogi Poly »

The Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Youths Affairs, Hon. Ahmadu Jibril Oludare has urged youths to massively support the candidacy of Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo and his Deputy, Salisu Joel in the forth coming Gubernatorial Elections in a bid to continue to enjoy the education dividends offered under current administration of GYB.

He made this known on Friday when he visited Kogi State Polytechnic campus, Felele to attend a dialogue organised by the National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) Kogi state chapter.

The governor’s adviser alluded that the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello has imprinted indelible footprints in the education sector in the last seven years of his New Direction Government and he was confident that the duo of Ododo/Joel would follow similar trajectory when elected.

Hon. Jibril added that the New Direction Government prides itself as such that has given room for youths to find expression in governance and with the continuity agenda of Ododo/Joel the place of the youths in leadership would be further cemented.

In his address Comrade Suleiman Muhammed, Chairman NANS joint Campus Council Kogi state chapter acknowledged that Governor Bello’s administration has shown over the past years that it is committed to students wellbeing through some of its policies and infrastructural efforts in the education sector.

He added that if Gov. Bello who had also done a great deal for the youths in the state was pointing them in the direction of Ododo/Joel they were confident that such decision was not a wrong choice and would further consolidate on the gains made so far in the sector under the current youths and education friendly administration
