Hon Anyebe Commends Kogi Governor Over Rescue of Abducted Students »

The Kogi State Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development, Honorable Monday Anyebe, has lauded the prompt action of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in the recent rescue operation of abducted students of Confluence University of Science and Technology.

He said the incident which sent shockwaves across the state, saw Governor Ododo’s administration mobilizing security forces to secure the safe return of the kidnapped students.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Hon Anyebe commended the governor’s steadfast commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of citizens, adding that Governor Ododo’s passion reflects his administration’s prioritization of security.

The Commissioner stressed that the successful rescue operation carried out by security operatives in collaboration with local authorities which culminated in the safe return of some of the abducted students to their families reiterated the administration’s resolve to combat criminal elements and safeguard the state’s educational institutions.
