Hon Bashir Gegu donates vehicles to APC loyalists, pledges to do more for constituents »

Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Hon Engr. Abubakar Bashir Gegu has today donated vehicles to some members of the governing All Progressives Congress, APC in Kogi/Koto Local Government Area.

The vehicles were presented to the beneficiaries in the presence of party officials and loyalists in Gegu Beki of Kogi Local Government on Monday.

Hon Bashir Gegu who was represented by the Senior Special Assistant to Kogi Local Chairman on Youths and Students Affairs, Hon. Sa’ad Abubakar Sultan said the beneficiaries are ardent members of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC and have displayed uncommon loyalty, unflinching steadfastness and support to the APC campaigns in the last Kogi gubernatorial election held on the 11th of November, 2023.

In his words, “I promise never to fail you, my constituents, my party and its leadership in the state by also providing quality representation, with a view to attracting unprecedented development to our dear Kogi Local Government and Kogi State in general.”

He charged other loyalists of the party to be patient with him, adding that he would make sure he reaches out to as many as possible within the shortest period time. He further assured that the incoming administration of His Excellency Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman will in no small measure assist in ameliorating the needs of people as this is the essence of democracy and being in leadership positions.

Hon Bashir Gegu said the empowerments would go along way in alleviating the travails of the beneficiaries, urging other elected and appointed officials to continue to emulate His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello whom he said has distinguished himself as a worthy leader of high pedigree and repute.

While praying to God to continue to elevate him, a cross section of the beneficiaries commended Hon Bashir philanthropic gesture and unending rewarding of party faithfuls adding that the empowerments would have enormous impact on their lives and that of their family.

Hon Osama Omoko and Hon Yunusa Aseni particularly noted that “We never expected such gift at this time, stressing that Hon Bashir Gegu is truly a leader that want his followers to grow whilst lauding the Commissioner for always coming to the aid of his constituents”, they concluded.
