Hon. Bashir Gegu Urges APC Stakeholders to Mobilize Support Ahead of Local Government Polls

The Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources in Kogi State, Engr. Abubakar Bashir Gegu, has called on the All Progressive Congress (APC) stakeholders in Kogi Local Government Area to mobilize support for the party ahead of the forthcoming local government elections in the state.

Addressing the APC stakeholders’ meeting held in Gegu Beki on Saturday , July 21, 2024, Hon. Gegu expressed his profound appreciation to the party stakeholders for their unwavering dedication, unrelenting commitment, and selfless sacrifice in consistently prioritizing the party’s interests.

He commended their exemplary model of loyalty, teamwork, and leadership, which has been instrumental in driving the party’s success and progress.

He charged the stakeholders to mobilize support for the APC candidates, emphasizing the need for unity and collective effort to achieve victory in the upcoming polls.

Earlier, the Chairman, Kogi State Civil Service Commission, Barrister Muammmed Tanko Osuku, praised Hon. Gegu for his exceptional leadership qualities, praying for continued wisdom in his endeavours.

The meeting, attended by a large number of stakeholders, including former and present local government officials, women leaders, and serving aides, was peaceful and productive.

Notable attendees included Hon. Musa Abdulmalik, former caretaker chairman; Hon. Abubakar Onah, APC chairman; Hon. Idrees Aliyu Maikudi, Member of the Kogi State House of Assembly amongst others.

The meeting demonstrated the strong support for the APC in Kogi Local Government, setting the stage for a successful outing in the forthcoming local government polls.
