Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah Celebrates Tradition at Turbaning Ceremony of Dr. Muhammad Lawal
In a moment steeped in tradition and cultural pride, Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah joined the people of Ankpa in celebrating the turbaning of Dr. Muhammad Lawal as the Eneojima Ejeh of Ejeh Ankpa. The prestigious event, held in the palace of His Royal Highness, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Amodu, the Ejeh of Ankpa, marked yet another milestone in the kingdom’s rich heritage of recognizing and honoring distinguished individuals.
The turbaning, a significant cultural and ceremonial event, witnessed a convergence of traditional rulers, political leaders, and dignitaries from all walks of life. Hon. Ogah’s presence was a testament to his deep respect for the customs and traditions of the Igala Kingdom and his commitment to fostering unity and development across the land.
Speaking after the ceremony, Hon. Ogah congratulated Dr. Muhammad Lawal on his new title and commended His Royal Highness, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Amodu, for his visionary leadership in preserving the cultural heritage of Ankpa.

Dr. Muhammad Lawal, now Eneojima Ejeh, expressed his gratitude to the Ejeh of Ankpa and pledged to use his new role to advance the welfare of the people and support the traditional institution.
