Hon. Monday Anyebe Casts Vote in Peaceful Local Government Elections in Kogi

Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Honourable Monday Aridaojo Anyebe, participated in the local government elections today by casting his vote at polling unit 007 in Igah Ward 4, Olamaboro Local Government Area. The Commissioner expressed satisfaction with the large voter turnout and praised the state Independent Electoral Commission for organizing a peaceful and well-coordinated election process.

Speaking after casting his vote, Honourable Anyebe commended the residents for their enthusiasm and sense of civic responsibility. “It is heartwarming to see such a massive turnout of voters. This is a testament to the people’s faith in democracy and their desire to contribute to the development of their local government,” he said.

The Commissioner also lauded the state electoral body for ensuring a smooth and peaceful exercise, stating that the process was transparent and fair, devoid of any violence or disruption.

Hon. Anyebe also praised the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for ensuring a smooth process without interference. He expressed optimism that APC Candidates will emerge victorious in the elections due to the goodwill of the governor and the general acceptance of the party across the state.
