Expressing his dismay, the Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development, Hon. Monday Anyebe described the attack and abduction of students as a despicable act that should be strongly condemned, adding that the incident has left the institution, students, and their parents in a state of shock and fear.

Assuring the public, Hon. Anyebe emphasized that Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration is fully committed to resolving the situation and ensuring the safe return of the abducted students.

He called on security agencies in the state to intensify efforts to secure the release of the victims.

In a show of support, the Commissioner commended the security agents for their ongoing efforts and urged them to work tirelessly to bring the students back unharmed.

The Kogi State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development remains vigilant and determined to aid in the swift resolution of the crisis.
