Hon. Monday Anyebe Condoles with Gov Ododo over Father’s Demise
The Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe has commiserated with the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ododo, over the passing of his father, the late Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo, who died on Monday at the age of 83.
In a condolence message on Monday, Anyebe described the death as a painful loss, noting that the late Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo lived a life of faith, humility and service to family and community. He prayed to Allah (SWT) to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings, accept his good deeds and grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus.
Anyebe extended heartfelt sympathies to Governor Ododo, the immediate family and the entire Ododo lineage, urging them to take solace in the worthy legacies the patriarch left behind. He called on the people of Kogi State to stand with the Governor in prayers during this period of mourning.
The Kogi State Government had earlier announced the passing of the Governor’s father and said he would be laid to rest according to Islamic rites.
