Hon. Sanni Egidi Welcomes Hon. Salman to APC, Commends Former, Current Kogi Governors

Hon. Sanni Abdulraheem Egidi, representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has warmly welcomed the defection of Hon. Salman Idris from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) on the floor of the House.

In a statement released on Thursday, Hon. Egidi expressed his delight at the addition of Hon. Idris to the APC family. He described the move as a testament to the growing strength and appeal of the APC party in Kogi State.

“I am excited to welcome Hon. Idris to the APC fold. His decision is a clear indication of the party’s growing influence and the confidence Nigerians have in our leadership,” Hon. Egidi said.

The lawmaker also used the opportunity to commend the exemplary leadership of former Governor Yahaya Bello. He described the former governor as a visionary leader who laid a solid foundation for the state’s development. “Governor Bello’s legacy of good governance and infrastructural development will continue to be felt for generations to come,” he added.

Hon. Egidi further expressed his appreciation for the all inclusive governance of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo. He commended the governor for his commitment to supporting all House of Representatives members from Kogi State, irrespective of their party affiliations.

“Governor Ododo’s leadership style is commendable. His focus on the development of Kogi State, without regard to political differences, is a testament to his commitment to the people”.

Hon. Egidi expressed optimism about the future of Kogi State under the leadership of Governor Ododo and the APC, and reiterated his commitment to working with his colleagues to deliver dividends of democracy to the people of his constituency.
