Hon Urah Ikani flag-off distribution of state food palliatives in Dekina LG »

The Caretaker Chairman of Dekina Local Government, Hon John Urah Ikani, earlier today distributesd the Palliative released to the local government area by the Governor of Kogi State, Usman Ododo in Ojogba Abocho.

Hon John Urah Ikani while addressing the public appreciated Governor Ododo for following suite the step of president Tinubu to cushion the temporary economic hardship caused by the removal of fuel subsidy.

Hon John Urah Ikani charged Ward Chairmen and other stakeholders to exhibit transparency and accountability in the sharing of the palliative. He noted that the palliative is to be shared across the twelve (12) Wards and 352 polling units in Dekina LG.

He also reminded the party executives and members that, the palliatives are not for APC members alone, as hunger doesn’t knows party, stressing that the rice must go round Dekina local government area as a whole irrespective of the party or religion .

The Chairman also mandated Ward Chairmen and other executive in charge of sharing of the palliatives to get videos and photos evidence of how and where the palliatives are being distributed across all the poling units.

On his part the Kogi state House of Assembly members from the local government area, Hon Usman Ochidi and Hon Enema Paul who spoke during the flag-off commended the Caretaker Chairman for the transparent way he handled the palliative sharing.
