Hon. Wemi Jones Welcomes National Sewing Championship 2024 Prize Winner

The Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Hon. Wemi Jones, FCIB, on Thursday, received Ayandoye Peace Oluwatosin, the prize winner and medalist of the National Sewing Competition 2024.

Impressed by the young talent’s achievement in clinching the prestigious gold medal and excelling in the competition, Commissioner Jones commended Ayandoye for bringing honor to the state.

Expressing the State Government’s dedication to enhancing vocational education, Jones assured Ayandoye and his parents of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s commitment to supporting and rewarding individuals with exceptional skills.

Encouraging Ayandoye to continue showcasing his talent and further elevate the state’s reputation, the Commissioner emphasized the government’s ongoing efforts to motivate and empower such skilled individuals.

In gratitude, Ayandoye’s father, Mr. Ayandoye, extended appreciation to the State Government for recognizing his son’s abilities and pledged continued support to Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo’s administration.

Ayandoye, the talented medalist, expressed his thanks to Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo for spearheading educational reforms that enable young talents like him to flourish and succeed.

Representing Kogi State at the National Sewing Championship 2024 in Abuja, Ayandoye competed alongside participants from all 27 states, emerging as one of the top seven gold medalists in the final race.
