Kabba APC Progressives holds inaugural meeting, thank Governor Bello for ongoing road constructions
…promises to assist security operatives in intelligence gathering
A group of the All Progressives Congress elected government officials, party executives and relevant stakeholders under the aiges of Kabba APC Progressives, a group simply described as Yahaya Bello grassroots mobilization platform in the nine wards of Kabba district, has commended the Governor for the ongoing construction of Kabba Township roads, saying the quality of the construction demonstrates the Governor’s love for Kabba land.
Vice Chairman of Kabba/Bunu local government area, Hon Bimpe Alfred who made this statement on behalf of the group enjoined th party faithfuls to continue to mobilize and propagate the GYB to PYB Project, describing the aspiration as a struggle against injustice and democratic annihilation of the people of North Central Nigeria.
Speaking in the same vein, Kabba/Bunu Party Vice Chairman, Hon Oloniyo aka Ilemowa commended the initiative behind the meeting, saying it has been long overdue, he expressed joy that the community can now speak in unity for their collective progress.
Majority Leader of Kabba/Bunu Legislative Council, Hon Emmanuel Aiyeditan express concern over the recent attacks by kidnappers in Kakun and Egbeda community and charged the group to brace up to assist security operatives with intelligence gathering and vigilance in all neighborhood of the city. He thanked members for their presence and readiness to work for the victory of Alh Yahaya Bello for Presidency of Nigeria, he said Governor Yahaya Bello’s ambition is a timely intervention to the wicked neglect the people of the north central have suffered on account of not producing a president for decades.
Speaking on the presidential ambition of Governor Yahaya Bello, Supervisory Councilor for Health, Hon(Otunba) Dare Yomi Johnson says it is time to produce a North Central son as the President of Nigeria. He said the zone have been marginalised, abandoned and neglected. He thanked Governor Yahaya Bello for his audacity and sacrifice for the zone to attain it’s rightful position in national leadership.
Representative of non-indigenes, the Kogi West President of Ibo Community said the non-indigenes in Kogi are proud of Governor Yahaya Bello for his inclusive governance and the sense of belonging he has shown to them. He said if Governor Yahaya Bello become the President of Nigeria,the issue of disunity will be a thing of the past in Nigeria.
Other speakers at the meeting are Local Goverent party Youth leader, Hon Kola Arokoyo, Local Government Party secretary, Hon Charles Olorunmaiye, APC Ayewa Ward Chairman, Pst Ise Olorunkanmi, APC Egbeda Ward Chairman Hon Kobere Jimoh, Hon Sunday Omole Kabba/Bunu LGA Supervisory Councilor for Education, Hon Councilor representing Okedayo ward, SSA Education to the Executive Chairman Hon Kayode Jimoh, representatives of Hausa, Igala, Ebira community and several others.
The meeting after exhaustive deliberations, the group set up two standing Committees as follows:
1, Voters Registration Awareness Committee to be headed by Hon Charles Olorunmaiye
- Security Intelligence gathering Committee to be headed by Hon Jimoh Kobere.
The Committees have been given terms of reference to work with and report by to the larger house during their next monthly meeting of the group.
