KEDA Boss Visits SA to President Buhari on SMEs

The MD/CEO of Kogi Enterprise Development Agency, KEDA Hajiya Rekiya Onaivo Sanni paid a courtesy visit to the Special Adviser to the President on SMEs, Mr Tola Johnson in his office in Abuja.

During her visit, Hajiya Rekiya commended the Special Adviser for significant values added so far in promoting small businesses in the country. The key focus of the discussion amongst others revolved around the National Shared Facility initiative and how Kogi MSMEs can access the scheme.

Hajiya Rekiya also noted that the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has made the state a safe haven for businesses and investors due to his security and other business friendly policies.

On his part, Mr Johnson appreciated the KEDA boss for the visit and assured her of his commitment to providing necessary facilities to implement a pilot MSME Shared Facility in Kogi State.

Mr Tola also assured that new and existing MSME clusters under the Kogi MSME Clinic initiative would receive the needed attention. While he commended the Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for his efforts in championing initiatives even at the national level.

Speaking after the meeting, the KEDA boss described the meeting as highly productive and tasked businesses in Kogi State to be hopeful for innovative opportunities in the coming days.
