KGSG Flags off Covid-19 vaccination with 16, 900 units »

The Kogi State Government has officially flagged off the vaccination of citizens against the Covid19 pandemic after receiving 16,900 units of Astraneca Oxford vaccine

The State Commisioner for Health who conducted the Flag-off pledged that
nobody would be deprived from taking the Covid19 Vaccines.

The Commissioner added that while no one would be denied from taking the Vaccines, government had also resolved not to compel any individual in the State to take the vaccine

The Commissioner said that another 16,900 of Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine was being expected in the State in a couple of weeks.

Dr. Saka Commended Gov. Yahaya Bello for his proactive measures towards protecting the lives of its citizens, thanked him for making the Vaccines available to people of the State.

Highlights of the flag off of the vaccination was it administration on some officials of Government amongst whom is Dr. Abubakar Yakubu, the Executive Director of Kogi State Primary Health Care Development Agency.
