KGSG youth aides, student leaders felicitate Onoja on his choice as Kogi deputy governorship candidate
Enamoured by the news of the emergence of the Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Hon Edward Onoja as the deputy governorship candidate to Governor Yahaya Bello for November poll, aides in the youth sector of the current cabinet have felicitated Hon Onoja.
This was the submission of the Special Adviser on youths and sports development, Comrade MD Eseyin the Senior Special Assistant on student matters, Comrade Omonu Joshua, and leaders of the state’s students associations.
Speaking, Comrade Eseyin said the emergence of Hon Onoja was a step in the right direction considering his political astuteness and leadership discernment.
Hon Eseyin therefore expressed gratitude to the government of Alhaji Yahaya Bello and the leadership of the state APC for choosing Onoja who he said is the right man to assist the Governor.
Also speaking, the SSA on student matters, Hon Omonu Joshua lauded the development describing it as a divine choice selected to ensure that the youth friendly policies of the administration was further consolidated in the Governor’s second term.
According to him, they are ready to mobilise the youth across the state to ensure that the positive developmental strides of Governor Bello were sustained to ensure equitable distribution of the state resources.
They were accompanied by the National President of National Association of Kogi State Students, Comrade Troy; the National President of National Association of Okun Students, Ehinmoro Abolaji; the National President of Association of Ebira Students, Comrade Tijani Avidime; the National President of Association of Igala Students, Comrade Ocheni Odiba; and the Chairman of the state chapter National Association of Nigerian Students Joint Campus Committee (NANS/JCC) Otaru Andah Abdulhakeem.
