Kogi 2023 Guber: APC candidate takes consultation to Kogi indigenes in Kano, Kaduna

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the November 11th gubernatorial election in Kogi State, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman (OAU) has taken his advocacy/consultation to indigenes of the state in Kano and Kaduna States to solicit their support during the election.

The visit which is another form of consultation comes against the backdrop of his decision not to let any stakeholder out of his advocacy and involvement of everyone in the party’s campaign which officially kickoff on the 14th of June.

The team which comprised major stakeholders is aimed at ensuring that many more people of Kogi origin based outside the state are encouraged to make up their minds to return to the state during the November election.

Alhaji Ododo assured the indigenes that he would be a governor for everyone irrespective of where they stay as long as they are of Kogi origin.

The APC flag bearer noted that rather than using politics to divide the people of the state along ethnic lines, it is better that he used his message to bring them together because it is only a united front that would ensuring continued development for the state.

He urged them to also prevail on their family members and relations to support the APC during the governorship election, and promised to further entrench the development trajectory he has mapped out in his manifesto.

End.
