Kogi AG canvasses votes for Ododo, distributes cash, wrappers, foodstuffs to women in Ogori-Magongo

Ahead of the November 11 governorship election in Kogi State, the Kogi State Accountant General, Hon. Jibrin Momoh has donated cash, wrappers and food stuffs to women in Ogori-Magongo Local Government Area, urging them to mobilize more support for the APC candidate, Ahmed Usman Ododo.

The AG who donated through his support group “JBest Women for Ododo”, encouraged the women to take advantage of their numerical strength to deliver victory for the APC candidate.

Convener of the group, Mrs. Charity Ijese, while delivering her speech in a meeting held at the local government secretariat in Ogori, appealed to the women jettison parochial sentiments and vote for the APC in the November 11 Election, pointing out that it will help shape the future of the local government.

She said the APC government at both federal and state has brought so much goodwill, hence the need for Ogori-Magongo Local Government Area to align fully with the party to ensure it attracts more human and infrastructure development with ease.

Ijese said the APC candidate, Ododo Usman enjoys popular support across the state, urging the people of Ogori-Magongo, especially the women to make their mark by ensuring that the local government is counted as one of those won by the party at poll in November 11.

On her part, the local government APC women leader, Mrs. Eunice Adebite who spoke on behalf of women appreciated the Accountant General, Hon. Jibrin Momoh for supporting the party and women of the area.

She declared the resolve of the women to throw weight of support behind Ododo and deliver massive votes for the APC. The women promised enough sensitization for the electorate from now till November 11.
