Kogi AG Habibat Oyiza Gifts Car, Motorcycles to Hausa/Fulani Community

The Kogi State Accountant-General, Dr. Habibat Oyiza Tijjani Onumoko, has presented a car gift and five motorcycles to Hausa/Fulani Community in Kogi central senatorial district.

While fielding questions from newsmen during the event in GRA Okene, the Accountant General said the presentation of the car and motorcycles was in fulfilment of her promise to the community during the last Kogi State governorship elections.

She explained that the Hausa/Fulani Community supports were apparent before and after the election.

Recall that few weeks ago, Dr. Habibat facilitated some appointments to deserving members of the community in Kogi central.

The Accountant General reiterated the readiness of the government of Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo to tackle some other challenges facing the Hausa/Fulani Community and other non-indigene community in Kogi State.

According to her, governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is playing ethical politics and not politics of ethnicity, stating that every resident of Kogi State will benefit from all government policies and programs, regardless of their origin.

She further expressed delight that the Hausa/Fulani communuty in Kogi Central have so far lived with other communities without crisis, and she charged them to sustain the tempo.

Presenting the car to the Hausa/Fulani Community on behalf of the Accountant General, RUWASSA boss, Hon. Ibrahim Ahovi said Dr Habibat’s gesture of presenting a car and motorcycles to Hausa/Fulani Community is a significant act of goodwill and support.

He maintained that the rare feat goes a long way to describe the Accountant General as a woman of impeccable character, a detribalized Nigerian and a quintessential leader.

Hon. Ahovi reaffirmed the crucial role of leadership in uniting people for sustainable and holistic development.

In his appreciation note, the Coordinator of the Hausa/Fulani Political Movement in Kogi central, Alh. Isah Usman said the vehicle and motorcycles will facilitate their movements and improve their economic activities.

He further noted that the gesture will have a long-term impact on their community.

Alh. Isah Usman thanked the Accountant-General on behalf of the Hausa/Fulani Community and prayed God give the governor divine wisdom to continue to serve the good people of Kogi state, even beyond 2028.
