Kogi APC Primaries: Serving senator, Smart Adeyemi loses fourth-term bid
The senator representing Kogi West in the National Assembly, Smart Adeyemi has lost his bid to return to the Senate for a fourth term as he lost the All Progressives Congress (APC ) primaries to Hon. Sunday Karimi.
In the election which held in Kabba, Smart, secured 43 votes .
While Karimi, a former House of Representatives member, clinched the party ticket with 288 votes.
Others are; Muyi Aina with 73 votes, Wambai, 09 votes, Doyin Eshanumi 1 vote respectively.
